Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) News: Fans React To The Soap’s Move To Peacock

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) is moving from NBC to Peacock and you better believe that fans sure have a lot to say about it. While the move is definitely a surprising one for fans, others think that this might not be the best move, seeing how fans will now have to pay a monthly subscription in order to continue watching all of their favorite characters live out their day-to-day lives in this fictional town of Salem. Days Of Our Lives News: Fans React To The Soap’s Move To Peacock

Reports say that beginning September 12, Days of Our Lives will be moving from NBC to Peacock. Even though the hit daytime television show has been on NBC for over six decades, the network heads believe that it’s time for a change – and a big one at that.

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both fans and critics to weigh in on the matter on social media. Many of them wrote comments such as, “Very, very, bad! Look what happened to OLTL and AMC. They moved to Hulu and ended up getting canceled. The same will happen to #Days. The news shows that replaced the soaps were dismal in the ratings. Apparently the networks haven’t learned their lesson,” along with, “It’s as close to being canceled as a show can get without actually being canceled. This is essentially a way of softening the blow for when Peacock eventually removes the show from their streaming lineup thus putting an end to what was once a brilliant drama. Sigh. Sad day.”

Days Of Our Lives News: What’s Next For The Soap?

Another fan wrote, “Who knows, many won’t or can’t do streaming, and what will the new show in the time slot bring or what do they think it will bring?? The only NBC show I watch is Days, I’m sure I’m not the only one.”
