Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Phyllis worries over Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) even though they are not currently dating and haven’t been husband and wife for many years. So, it won’t surprise viewers of The Young and The Restless to see Phyllis fly out to Los Angeles to check on Jack when she hears something wrong in his voice on the phone when she calls to check upon him. Jack asks Phyllis to meet her at a café, possibly the same one he’s had lunch with his newly found granddaughter Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) at a couple of times. Phyllis will be shocked by what Jack has to tell her, but at least she will have a little bit of a warning, unlike he did when he found out the person who bought Keemo Volien Abbott’s (Philip Moon) house under an assumed name was Diane! Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember that Phyllis and Diane were the worst of enemies!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Hated Diane Jenkins And Isn’t Surprised She Hasn’t Changed

Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember that Diane was run over, bludgeoned to death, and even buried, or at least that was what everyone thought! Diane revealed how she accomplished that to Jack, telling him that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) had supplied a corpse that was buried in her place, and she just disappeared for over fifteen years. But now she regrets doing so because she missed out on a lot of her and Jack’s son Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) life, and she went to these extraordinary lengths hoping Jack would help in her reconciliation with Kyle – and Jack explains to Phyllis that he told her no! Viewers of The Young and The Restless can imagine Phyllis’ opinion of Diane’s request- secretly, she’d like to recreate Diane’s death and make it stick this time! Phyllis thinks Diane is certifiably insane and she knows not only hasn’t she changed, but she is also maybe even worse if that is possible!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott And Phyllis Summers Head For Keemo Volien Abbott’s Old House

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will see Jack and Phyllis head over to Keemo’s old house, where Diane is now living, meaning to confront her together; as viewers of The Young and The Restless know, Phyllis has an interest in Kyle’s welfare. Kyle is Phyllis’ son-in-law, having married her daughter Summer Newman Abbott (Hunter King) so she feels she has every right to make sure he isn’t harmed by his back-from-the-dead mother and certainly doesn’t want Summer harassed by her monster-in-law! Not surprisingly, Phyllis and Diane are ice cold to each other, but Phyllis has a plan on how to get rid of Diane; she’s already got a plot cooking in her head to let Diane take herself down!

As for Jack, he spells out in detail, in no uncertain terms, how Kyle will find out his mother is alive –and he will facilitate it; but if Kyle doesn’t want anything to do with her, she needs to walk away! Jack tells Diane he will provide Kyle with her contact information and leave the ball in Kyle’s court as to whether he wants to contact her or have a relationship with her, but she needs to stay away from him!
