The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) put herself in a dangerous position when standing up to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Li’s reaction was grief as Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) tried to tell the cloaked killer of John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

Sheila was attempting to shoot Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) when Finn made the noblest and last action of his life. He stepped in front of his wife.

But Sheila was in the kill zone in her mind and could not stop herself from pulling the trigger. A bullet entered Finn’s chest at point-blank range, which caused his death in what seemed like moments later.

Sheila is Finn’s mother by biology only. Li believed, until recently, that she and her husband, Jack Finnegan (Ted King), were Finn’s adoptive parents. Li was, with Jack revealing that Finn is the biological child he had with Sheila.

So, Sheila’s request to see who she termed her son made Li bristle. Who can blame her after being blindsided by Jack in the recent past?

The mention of King’s character raises a worthy side point. Why were only two of Finn’s three parents present at the Accidents and Emergency ward?

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Jack Finnegan’s Absence Was Unusual

Not having Jack at the hospital with Li was wrong. Devoted fans were led to believe that this couple was working on maintaining their marriage after the Sheila reveal took place last year, which implied that they separated.

But even if Jack and Li were living separately, he still should have been at the hospital with the Forresters and Sheila. Having this character be out of the country or ill would be unbelievable.

Jack knows Sheila as well as anyone. He will likely be able to detect what Thomas now suspects, her involvement in this horrific crime.

Sheila Carter More Unstable Than Ever

Sheila killed her father because she said he abused her. There is no way to know if that never-seen character is responsible for her becoming a monster, or if she exaggerated a story or outright lied to justify her first known murder.

Li’s verbal berating of Sheila is teased to cause Brown’s character to attempt to jump off a roof, with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) preventing that soapy ending.

But Sheila is not going to stabilize now or likely, ever. So, Li is in danger as long as she blocks Finn’s biological mother from seeing her son in the morgue.
