The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy’s Shocking Change of Heart Brings Sheila Into the Family?
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) did what no one expected.
She agreed to Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) divorce request and hasn’t gone wild since, yet Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) refuses to recognize progress.
In Steffy’s mind and heart, Sheila is as much of a threat as she’s ever been.
So, John Finn Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) recent heartfelt comments, made in defense of his birth mother, fell flat.
However, Sheila does have support. Steffy can’t believe that Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) is convinced that Sheila has supposedly matured.
Plus, Hayes Finnegan’s (Bryan David Garlick) other grandmother, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), developed an unexpected friendship with Sheila.
Li Finnegan Was Nearly Killed Years Ago
Soap-time is different than real-time. So, it’s been several years on B&B’s calendar since Sheila went berserk and ran Li off the road into the water.
Devoted fans recall that Li was assumed drowned. But Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) found her alive and incredibly disheveled.
He took her back to his home and nursed Li back to health, not knowing who she was.
Li later forgave Sheila and formed a grandmotherly bond with her.
She remains a champion for Brown’s character in what can only be described as a classic use of the suspension of disbelief, which willing viewers accept in daytime to allow plots to flow.
Taylor Hayes Has A Personal Incentive
Taylor has suspended disbelief in choosing to think that Sheila is reformed. She holds that belief because doing so allows her to feel she and Deacon’s realized relationship will be safe from Sheila’s attack.
So, not siding with Steffy makes sense. A solid point on Taylor’s side can also be made because Sheila came through when signing the divorce papers.
She also has shown no intentions of wanting to punish Taylor, who betrayed trust to a terrible degree and violated any reasonable bounds of professional ethics when forming a romantic connection with her patient, Deacon.
It would help Taylor and Deacon if Steffy allows Sheila to have contact with Finn and Hayes.
Doing so would likely help to shift Sheila’s gaze to her re-involvement in their lives and away from ruminating thoughts about how her treasured marriage was ruined.
Monaco Is A Beautiful Location Setting
Monaco was the venue for its Sixty-Fifth Television Festival last month.
B&B cast members, including Wood, Brown, Novlan, Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester), and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan), appeared.
It’s fair to assume that the presence of all actors means that their characters filmed scenes that will soon be seen on-screen.
B&B generally records a month in advance of an episode’s air date. But in this instance, a location shoot can be held for an extra period of time and then inserted into whatever plot point is ahead.
So, why not have Sheila become a hero of some form at that beautiful location setting?
Connect her to helping Steffy’s husband, father, or mother-in-law, and a positive result would be possible.
But Sheila proving her redemption effort through direct involvement with Steffy would be best and plausibly create the family reunion Brown’s legendary alter ego is striving to achieve.
