General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Brook Lynn Quartermain (Amanda Setton) may no longer be able to sing, thanks to Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), but her career in music may just be beginning. As viewers know, Nelle slashed Brook Lynn’s throat almost two years ago, ruining Brook Lynn’s dream of a singing career. Since then, Brook Lynn has been focused on caring for Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) baby, but now thanks to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Brook Lynn’s career in music may not be as dead as she thought.

Although she still can’t sing, Brook Lynn is also a very talented songwriter. She had intended to sing the songs herself but when Chase found Brook Lynn’s songbook, he told her that songs were too good to never see the light of day. Chase demonstrated by singing one of the songs himself. So when Maxie suggested that they use one of Brook Lynn’s original songs at the Deception IPO launch, Brook Lynn happily agreed.
