The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) has been completely out of sorts since she woke up with a bad headache and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) smiling at her. How did that happen?

The answer has an original source name, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). But Sheila did not force Deacon to drink with Brooke or make him sleep aside of her, purely in a platonic fashion.

Brooke does not know that Sheila targeted her, intentionally switching a champagne label so that Lang’s character would not know her non-alcoholic bottle was filled with real fuel.

The terrible outcome, drinking partner, and optics wrecked Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) trust. He loves Brooke more than Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) but can not make himself remain in the mansion. So, he moved to the cliff house’s guest house, where it appears he is reconciling with the woman who put Brooke on edge when she returned from missionary work in Africa.

Brooke has no backup plan. She convinced herself that the New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day secret was something that Ridge did not need to know. She was not having an affair, with the drinking being why that holiday party went so wrong.

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Time To Advance The Plot

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was able to get Sheila to admit what she did. That happened after Sheila forcefully told him that he and the Forrester family should be grateful to her for making the Ridge’-Taylor reunion possible.

So, the above creates one path for Brooke to learn the truth. The supposedly reformed Thomas can go directly to her and spill. But that would be too simple for a soap storyline.

B&B’s writing staff likely wants to play this through multiple characters learning what happened. The next most likely person to become aware of Sheila’s duplicity is Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who overheard Thomas in a dispute with her. Something has to come from that.

Taylor Hayes Falls On Her Sword

It would be most noble if Taylor learns the truth through Thomas and or Steffy and then decides that Brooke needs to know what happened along with Ridge. This scenario could allow Ridge to forgive Brooke while also remaining with Taylor.

It feels as though TPTB is splitting Brooke and Ridge, based on the multiple retrospectives in recent weeks. So, Brooke learning about Sheila through the Forresters would make sense for various reasons.
