Taylor’s approach to Brooke has been masterful to date. She stressed to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) that Brooke is not her rival.

The above exchange happened in Taylor’s office, where she has established a fledgling practice. Sheila wants to exploit past bad blood between Taylor and Brooke to no current avail.

Allen’s character recognizes that wasting energy by reverting to old patterns with Brooke is not healthy. At the same time, Brooke is suffering because she was pushed off the wagon by Sheila and finds herself caught in a film noir-like storyline.

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Ridge Forrester Lives In Two Worlds

Ridge has two distinct families. The one he has with Brooke arguably centers upon her and always has. The family he has with Taylor centers on their children in modern times.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is close to her father. She served as the matriarch of the Forrester family (sorry Quinn Fuller, Rena Sofer) while Taylor was off-screen. A protective sense developed due to that embraced responsibility.

The contrast was cloaked in recent months. But Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) return telegraphed what Ridge feared, big trouble. Alternatively, Taylor represents fond nostalgia.

Brooke Logan Forrester Is Too Late

What will Brooke do when her scandal is revealed through forced exposure, pressured confirmation, or voluntary admission?

The problem with drinking on New Year’s Eve was that Deacon was present. If he had not been, then Brooke would simply be battling the curious impulse to break sobriety.

Brooke had her chance to tell Ridge the truth on New Year’s Day. That was weeks ago, with daily opportunities to bear her soul since. Brooke has not done so, with Taylor increasingly representing honesty and a path back to what she and Ridge once had.
