Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful will recall in some recent episodes that Phoebe’s name has come up, which is usually a telltale sign that soap is bringing back a character, either living or sometimes presumed dead or even actually dead! Recently, since Steffy and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) have worked hard to get their parents, Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) reconciled and remarried, and there was a wistful conversation about if only Phoebe were alive to see it! Longtime viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful will recall that Taylor nearly died giving birth to her twin girls, and later actually was killed and appeared once as a ghost, and then returned alive again even after she had appeared as a ghost! Nothing is impossible if writers want to make it happen, even when someone has been dead for as long as Phoebe has!

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – More About Phoebe Forrester, Who She Was, And What She Did

Longtime viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful will remember that Phoebe died in Ridge’s arms after being thrown from a car; Phoebe was a singer who’d returned from a tour only to find the man she was in love with, Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) was unfaithful. Ridge hadn’t approved of their relationship anyway and he warned her Rick would hurt her – and he did; not only did he sleep with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), he’d become involved with both Taylor and Steffy while she was gone! Phoebe had been in Rick’s car arguing with him about his involvement with her mother and sister while she was on tour, and caused the wreck that took her life. It would be kind of like a time jump, as many viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful have speculated, if years later Ridge woke up from a nightmare and none of that had ever happened, and Phoebe was still alive!

The Whole Family Unit Would Be Together

As badly as Steffy especially has longed for her family unit of mother Taylor, father Ridge, and brother Thomas to be reunited with their parents married, imagine how wonderful it would be for Phoebe to be alive also! The writers at The Bold and The Beautiful could also include what may have happened had Phoebe lived, and tell that story when Ridge wakes up from his nightmare of Phoebe’s death.

Viewers of The Bold and The Beautiful can imagine Ridge not being able to save his daughter has haunted him for years anyway, and this way he can be relieved realizing the whole sad tale was only a bad nightmare that he’s awakened from. Why not write a twist like this – if Brooke can dream of her five true loves, why not make Phoebe’s death only a terrible nightmare that Ridge wakes up from?
