General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will clash with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Tries To Help Nina Reeves With Visits

General Hospital viewers will recall that there hasn’t been any progress with Sonny trying to stall the divorce that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) so desperately wants. Sonny has been forced to accept the divorce, and has been leaning on Nina a lot even though he has been trying not to; he needs a friend and she’s always there for him. General Hospital viewers know that there is really no need for pretense once the divorce is final, and Carly is trying to get it pushed through the system very quickly; it hurts her to see him and she just wants to move on. Nina has news for Sonny about the kibosh on her seeing their mutual grandson Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and he offers to intercede with Michael and Willow to let Nina have a relationship with Wiley. One important point is that Wiley is old enough to know Nina and who she is to him, and it’s bad enough that he lost Sonny for several months even though he’s now back and Sonny will stress those points.

General Hospital Updates – Sonny Corinthos Could Make Things Even Worse

General Hospital viewers can imagine that Sonny could make things even worse by interceding for Nina because Michael and Willow are already mad at him for causing Carly so much pain and Nina is a big part of that pain as well! General Hospital viewers will recall that Nina kept Sonny’s survival a secret from Carly and the rest of his family for over nine months, and they fell in love with each other under his Mike persona. But then, the one time that she did try to call Carly cut her off and didn’t want to talk to her, she only struck out at her and castigated her-but then Nina does have a hard time sometimes getting to the point! Sonny goes to Willow and Michael remembering all that but also thinking about all the time Wiley lost with him while he was presumed dead, and he knows that Wiley could easily think Nina died if no contact was allowed at all!

No Conversation, Just Confrontation

General Hospital viewers will see that indeed, Sonny’s visit doesn’t go very well – from the start, there is no conversation, just confrontation and neither Michael nor Willow want to listen to anything that Sonny has to say! They both know from Carly about what happened with her walking in on them in bed aboard The Haunted Star, on what was supposed to be a grand romantic gesture, although ill-advised, for her! General Hospital viewers know that Carly was devastated and angered, and that was really what made her decision to divorce Sonny and move on – he wasn’t the same Sonny after returning from Nixon Falls anyway!

Sonny tries to broach the subject of allowing Nina to visit Wiley, even if it is a supervised visit only, and tries to get Michael and Willow to see that if everything is cut suddenly Wiley could misunderstand! He asks what they are going to tell Wiley, and they cut him off – Michael answers that is their concern and none of his!
