The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that wedding bells will soon be ringing in Genoa City, Wisconsin. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) said I do to Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). Teriah are finally back on track after a series of missteps and this time it seems like a happily ever after is in the cards.

Cait recently talked to Soap Opera Digest about this latest development and she has a unique insight into what might happen next!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Teriah Are Back On Track

Teriah has been through a nightmare scenario with Abby Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) surrogacy. Mariah agreed to be the gestational carrier and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) agreed to be the sperm donator. But somewhere along the line, Mariah was kidnapped and no one noticed.

To be fair, they thought she needed a little me time which was a gross overstatement. When Mariah was rescued she had to deal with giving Dominic to Abby and she demanded a new baby to replace the old one. Understandably Tessa balked.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Mariah Copeland Said Yes

The future is looking up however since the pair have agreed to adopt and Mariah’s mom Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) is on board with the idea. According to Cait, “Sharon’s support means the world to Tessa.”

Sharon was not always Tessa’s biggest fan: “She knows that she’s hurt and disappointed Sharon before, so to have someone love Tessa unconditionally … is wonderful.” Perhaps it is this full-on acceptance that spurred Tessa to do something wonderful of her own.

What Happens Next in Genoa City, Wisconsin?

Teriah is at the coffeehouse when Mariah surprises Tessa with a look back at their romance and, “Tessa is blown away by this proclamation of love.” Mariah then proposes, “to give that moment to Tessa.” Everything is hearts and roses right now but dare we mention that Cait threw a spanner in the works?

This is a literal soap opera after all and she says, “There will be some challenges coming up for them very soon.” What could those challenges be? It may have to do with their plans to adopt. They have their hearts set on this so any roadblock would be bad news.

Or it could be Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) who obviously still has feelings for his ex, who is now his sister Mariah’s wife-to-be. Tell us what you think happens to Teriah next Y&R fans!
