The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease that Brooke is continuing to spiral out of control emotionally and Hope not knowing what to do about either of her parents. And Sean Kanan can’t wait to let it play all out.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Can Brooke And Ridge’s Marriage Survive?

Bringing Deacon Sharpe back to B&B has invigorated Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) stale marriage. Yes, it may be on the rocks, but it needed some life in it and some good, soapy drama. And Kanan is thrilled to be back on the soap and provide it, while exploring more growth in this long-running character, as well as his relationship with Brooke.

After all, there is a reason Brooke has often turned to Deacon when she felt she could turn to nobody else but she never wanted to admit how much she needed him.

“I think the connection between the characters is still strong and we are able to, not recreate it on-screen, but reach back to the history and tap into that,” Kanan said in the February 1, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “Deacon will always carry a torch for Brooke, and there is no guile or subterfuge involved at all. In his mind, she is the one who got away and he has always loved her.”

Kanan also thinks that Deacon is the one who can get Brooke out of the mess he is in now. He is also tired of the way Deacon is made out to be the bad guy all the time. “If you look at all the crap Ridge and Bill have done, they seem to get away with it with impunity and Deacon is vilified for it. The only thing that separates them is that they have money.”

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Will Deacon Explore His Relationship With Hope?

One thing Kanan is loving this go-around is that Hope and Deacon are finally forging a real relationship after all these years, something that both of them have always wanted with things always getting in their way.

“Hope is pretty formidable. If there is a good cop/bad cop scenario to come down the line, I’d be a little more leery about Deacon disturbing Hope and not getting on her bad side,” Kanan said. “Annika’s done a great job with the character, I’ve got to say. She’s awesome.”
