Nicole has been having problems with her marriage to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). She had a one-night stand with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Nicole and Eric hosted a party with family and friends to celebrate their one-year anniversary. Xander came to the party to expose the truth about the one-night stand to Eric because Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) paid him to do it.
