Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Is Not Welcomed Back To Britain

British Royal Family news teases that regardless of whether or not Meghan Markle does want to go back to the UK, most of Britain has made it pretty clear that she is certainly not welcomed back. In fact, the Duchess of Sussex would be better off coming back to the UK incognito, if she ever chooses to do so, simply because she wouldn’t get the kind of homecoming that she would expect.

After throwing the entire royal family under the bus in her seismic interview with Oprah Winfrey, a hostel on a corner road in Belfast wouldn’t even take Meghan Markle’s reservation, because that’s just how bitter everyone has become over Prince Harry’s wife. Yet, is this even right?

Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Is Not Welcomed Back To Britain, Here’s Why That’s Wrong

Meghan Markle told Oprah Winfrey that her life behind closed doors at Buckingham Palace was so bad that at one point she experienced suicidal thoughts. If that weren’t enough, she didn’t get the mental health support that she needed because it apparently would be a “bad look” for the royal family.

Meghan also said that there were serious discussions over how dark her baby’s skin color would be. This was enough for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to decide that enough was enough and that they wanted to leave Britain behind for good.

While the Duchess of Sussex certainly had an opportunity to tell her side of the story, we are yet to hear from the royals. Clearly, they are taking Queen Elizabeth’s “do not explain, do not complain” approach in this matter. But at the same time, very little has been done to show Meghan Markle the help and support that she supposedly needed. After all, it wouldn’t be easy on anyone going from private citizen to member of the royal family, and especially for an American like Meghan, who had to learn many British customs fast.

Royal Family News: Should The Duchess Of Sussex Be Given A Second Chance?

Sure, it’s true that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could have resolved their issues with the royal family privately, but instead, they decided to do it in a very public manner. But then again, no one knows how many attempts there were before the Oprah interview happened. Yet, is this a reason for the UK to turn their back on Meghan Markle, simply because she spoke her truth? If Meghan were to go back to the UK, how would she be treated? Or better yet, how should she be treated? What are your thoughts?
