The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers divulge that alum Rome Flynn (ex Zende Forrester) has joined the Season 2 cast of Netflix’s superhero drama series Raising Dion. Production on the second season is underway in Atlanta.
According to Deadline, the actor will play Tevin Wakefield, an Olympic track coach and a former long-distance runner. And there is another daytimer in the cast, Michael B. Jordan (ex-Reggie, All My Children) also stars. Flynn has also joined the cast of Dear White People and will recur during the fourth and final season in the role of David.

Based on the comic book by Dennis Liu, Raising Dion follows the story of a single mom who raises her son after the death of her husband, Mark (Michael B. Jordan). The drama amps up when the son manifests several superhero-like abilities. She has her hands full now!
Daytime Emmy winner Flynn plays Tevin Wakefield. His character is a former long-distance runner and Olympic track coach. He becomes Dion’s trainer and mentor and along the way grows close relationships with both Dion and Nicole.
At the same time the character of Janelle Carr, a 15-year-old girl who has been labeled unhelpful and dangerous enters the picture. She grows close to Nicole and Dion, and feels valued and listened to for the first time.

Raising Dion Season 1 was one of the 10 most popular series on Netflix in 2019. In 2019 it was the most popular Kids & Family series release. Raising Dion is produced by Super Spring Productions.
Flynn has been busy since leaving the role for which he won an Emmy on The Bold and the Beautiful. Among other gigs he played the role of Gabriel on ABC’s How to Get Away With Murder.
