Coronation Street Spoilers: Jacob And Simon Take Over The Flat, Leanne Scrambles And Hides

Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) invites Jacob Hay (Jack James Ryan) into the flat. They completely take it over as a horrified Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) tries to reason with Simon. However, he is so angry and says that she is the whole reason why he has to deal drugs. Defeated by her son’s death, the once strong Leanne hides in her room.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Leanne Battersby’s Grief

Corrie spoilers reveal that Leanne has been paralyzed by grief ever since her young son died. She fought for Oliver Battersby (Jeremiah and Emmanuel Cheetham) but eventually had to turn off the machines. She has been in deep mourning ever since and it doesn’t seem like things are getting better. She hides in the flat all day, sleeps constantly, nearly gets hit by cars as she chases feathers in the street, and wastes money on psychics. She even quit her job, overdosed on pills, and now is having Simon financially support them.

Too Much Responsibility

Simon is already dealing with Peter Barlow’s (Chris Gascoyne) alcoholism and liver failure. He also has to cope with his own sadness over Oliver’s death. On top of it all, he has become a parent to Leanne while she’s like a child. He has to come up with the money to get food in the house and prevent the lights from being turned off due to non-payment. Through a series of events, Simon became even more desperate. It seemed like bad luck was hitting him at every turn, but it was really Jake roping in a new recruit.

Coronation Street Updates – Jacob Hays Recruits And Cons

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Simon has tried to get out of the drug dealing, but Jacob hasn’t been repaid. We will see Jacob encourage Simon to sample the drugs, they will kidnap a teenager and stuff him in the back of a car. Then Simon leaves his bag lying around — the same one that has the drugs in it — and Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) ends up grabbing it. Things will get even worse when Simon’s life is threatened by a drug dealer.

Leanne Battersby Hides

According to Inside Soap magazine, Jacob and Simon take over the flat. In the past, Leanne would have tossed Jacob out on his hiney. However, she’s not the same woman she once was. Oliver’s death has changed her and instead of taking charge of the situation, she hides in her room. However, something is going to happen that will force Leanne to stand up and fight. Will she end up winning and save both her and Simon’s lives? Or could the battle with the drug lord end in her death? We will have to keep watching the ITV soap opera to see how this story ends.
