Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson news reveals that the exuberant teen is chatting with her fans and has some exciting news to spill. Recently the reality star answered fan questions during an Instagram Q&A and among other things she shed light on her personal life.

To be specific, Honey Boo Boo is dating someone special. This week she answered a few questions and the inevitable interest in her love life popped up. When she was asked, “you gotta [boyfriend]?” the cute teen did not hold back answering, “yesssss.”

It sounds as if things are going great for her and her new boo because when she was asked, “how is life?” she replied, “honestly couldn’t be better.”

Honey Boo Boo News: Alana Thompson Has a New Boo

Fans of Honey Boo Boo are thrilled for her to finally be on an upswing. But if they are wondering who Alana is dating, they will have to wonder a little longer.

During the Q&A the star did not identify her new guy and there are no social media pics with him either.

For now she is living with her older sister, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, 21. This came about after their reality star mom Mama June Shannon was arrested in March 2019. Both June and her boyfriend, Geno Doak, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

The good news is that since then the pair have gone to rehab and at the end of last year June shared that she was celebrating 11 months of sobriety.

Honey Boo Boo News: There is Good News For the Shannon Family

Pumpkin was asked recently on Instagram about Alana and she said, “She’s still with me.” The epic move was documented on an episode of the family’s reality show, Family Crisis, in 2019.

“I would love to come home and stay with you, tell you about my day, but I can’t do that because I’m scared,” Honey Boo Boo told her mom during the family’s intervention. “I’m scared to stay at your house.”

There was a wide range of questions asked during the fan Q&A and Alana was open to all of them. When she was asked to talk about the roller coaster ride that fame can turn into she said that it had been a positive part of her life. “It’s crazy to think that I can make someone have a better day just by watching me,” Alana said. “But I wouldn’t trade it for the world!”
