Prince Charles Left Delighted Because Of This Zoom Call With Archie
Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have settled in quite well with their new lives in California, the rest of the royal family don’t get to see them and their one-year-old son Archie Harrison like they used to before their move. Luckily, with a little technology and face-to-face video calling apps like Zoom, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex can still reconnect with their family and loved ones back in London. And that’s exactly what they did recently for Prince Harry’s birthday. And while everyone was celebrating the prince’s birthday and wishing him all the best, it was his father Prince Charles who got a nice surprise during the call. Here’s what you need to know.
According to reports, Prince Charles was left delighted after sharing a wonderful milestone with his grandson Archie while on their Zoom call together. During the call, Prince Harry was said to have blown out candles on a birthday cake that his wife Meghan Markle baked for him. However, it was little Archie that stole the show during the call. Apparently, he gave his grandfather Prince Charles a very sweet nickname!
A source told The Sun :
“It was very pleasant. Harry told the family how much he missed them. Meghan baked a cake and Harry blew out candles. Archie made them laugh when he also blew them out. Archie then called Charles ‘pa’ during the call.”
Little Archie is said to be saying such words as Dada, Mama, book, and dog right now. Now, whether or not Prince Charles and the rest of the royal family will get to see Harry, Meghan and Archie for the holidays this year still remains to be seen. The Sussex family have remained in California since March because of the global pandemic that has been the coronavirus.
