The Bold and the Beautiful star Ashley Aubra is saying out loud what we’ve all been thinking this entire time: that motherhood is definitely healing. In fact, the blonde beauty shared a new photo with her son, Hayden Joel, while the two of them were spending a mother and son day at Malibu beach recently. As many fans know, Ashley is currently divorcing her husband, Joel Henricks.
Ashley hasn’t had the best year so far, with many different allegations made about her divorce from Joel, her personal life and claims made about her family. Luckily, she’s moving past everything and doing what she does best, and that’s focusing on motherhood. In her photo, Ashley looks happy and healthy and very much in love with her son. She said in the captions that being a mother has been very healing for her.
Back in 2017, Ashley opened up about motherhood and work balance during an interview with Soap Central. She said that she actually found it pretty easy for her to bring her son on set while she was working on a Hallmark channel movie at the time. Ashley explained,
“I learned a lot about balancing the work and family life and having to really prepare before you get to work, and you kind of compartmentalize, so to speak. While you’re at work, you really focus.”
The actress added,
“You know your child is okay, and you check in on them, but when you’re on set and the camera is rolling, you’ve prepared so much that it’s okay for you to focus on that for a few minutes. It’s part of the working mom concept.”
With everything that she has dealt with this past year, it’s great to see Ashley happy and more importantly, at peace. Here’s hoping that her good fortune will continue throughout the end of the year and that there will be better days ahead.
