A day late, but still important nonetheless! ‘General Hospital’ star Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) has always made it no secret that her daughter Harper is her light and love, but she also made a point to show the world just how special the little girl is on National Daughter Day. Here’s what she has to say.

As anyone with a social media account probably already knows, many people celebrated National Daughter Day on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter by posting photos and sweet messages about their children. Kristen might have posted her message a day late, but it was still a very special and important one for her. The actress shares her daughter with her ex-husband, Days of Our Lives actor Brandon Barash (Stefan DiMera).

Sharing a sweet photo of little Harper wearing her mother’s glasses, Kirsten wrote, “Of course. Somehow I missed #nationaldaughtersday yesterday. Still going to gush love for this little firecracker! She is my light in the dark, my heart, she is honestly my reason to live. I will never forget the afternoon when the doctor told us we were having a girl – I was so excited and cried uncontrollably. I couldn’t wait for you I love you Harper Rose. More than life itself.”

It didn’t take very long for her fans to respond as many of them commented with, “Enjoy these precious days she’ll be grown in the blink of an eye!” along with, “Gorgeous little girl like her mommy!”
