The Young and the Restless Star Eric Braeden Shares Granddaughter Update

The Young and the Restless star Eric Braeden might portray a very ruthless character by the name of Victor Newman on the small screen but off camera he’s far away from the man you see on television. As a matter of fact, Eric is someone who absolutely loves spending time with his family and of course, his incredibly adorable grandchildren! Here’s what you need to know.

Even though he lives and works in Los Angeles full time, Eric likes to visit his son and his family in Atlanta. That, or he spends time with them if they happen to be on the west coast. And that’s exactly what they did as Eric’s granddaughters got to spend a little one on one time with their ‘Opa.’

Just like so many proud grandparents out there, Eric shared a photo of his youngest granddaughter getting driving lessons from the actor. He captioned the photo with,

“Have got to teach them early!”

Needless to say, it didn’t take very long for Eric’s fans to respond to the adorable photo. A lot of social media followers shared their own photos of their grandchildren while others wrote, “This is a beautiful moment and a photo that she is most definitely going to appreciate when she is older,” along with, “This is too cute! Yes, she’s coming to her Opa when she turns 16!”

Another fan wrote, “The smile on her face says it all. I used to have a very close relationship with my grandfather and miss him very much everyday.”

With that said, if there is one thing that Eric Braeden does have in common with his on screen alter-ego it’s that both love their grandchildren very much! We have a feeling that we will be seeing more precious photos like this in the future.
