As a matter of fact, there’s a new report that suggests the Duchess of Sussex is already filling in her work calendar for the coming weeks even though she’s expecting her first royal baby. Apparently, Meghan has already penciled quite a few royal engagements and public appearances, including a charity event in October. She will be attending the annual One Young World summer in London.

According to Cosmopolitan, one source says,

“Harry is keen to support Meghan in developing her own role and the opportunity to partner with a cause so close to her heart is an ideal stepping stone. All being well with the baby, the timing is perfect for her to expand her Commonwealth work through this new One Young World partnership with the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust.”

For a lot of royal fans, this doesn’t surprise them at all. That’s because Meghan Markle made it pretty known that she wanted to hit the ground running the moment she became a member of the royal family. And that’s exactly what she’s done for the past year.
