Madonna Celebrates Birthday In Italy With Her Children

Madonna is one mother who loves to celebrate with her nearest and dearest, wherever and whenever she can. The Material Mom shared a few behind-the-scenes photos of her recent 59th birthday party and celebrations in Italy with her family. She also shared a never-before-seen photo of herself and all six of her children. The Instagram photo is taking the Internet by storm as fans can’t get enough of the precious family portrait.

Madonna shared the photos on her birthday, Aug 16. It also marked the first time she shared a pic of her entire family together. Sons Rocco, 17, and David, 11, were there along with Mercy James, 11, Lourdes, 20, and Esterre and Stella, (both 4). According to reports, Madonna wore a corseted costume while her girls wore matching Dolce and Gabbana hydrangea-print ensembles.

Last year Madonna also celebrated her 58th birthday with a party in Havana, Cuba with her son Rocco. Her birthday celebration followed a nasty custody dispute between her and her ex-husband, Guy Ritchie. While Rocco spends most of his time with his father Guy in London, he does maintain a good relationship with his mother Madonna and often travels with her and his siblings on family vacations, too.

Yet, many fans were surprised when Madonna slammed her ex-partners (which also includes Lourdes’ father, Carlos Leon) in an Instagram post that she shared on Father’s Day earlier this summer. Sharing a collage of photos with her kids, Madonna wrote, “And Happy Father’s Day to Me too because lets face it, I’m the Mommy and the Daddy. I don’t care what the papers say.”
