Harper Beckham Celebrates 6th Birthday at Buckingham Palace

It looks like Harper Beckham’s 6th birthday party was fit for a princess! David and Victoria Beckham’s daughter recently celebrated her birthday at none other than Buckingham Palace in London with her closest friends and a real life princess: Princess Beatrice.

Proud parents David and Victoria shared a few behind-the-scenes photos of the party on their Instagram account. In one photo, David can be seen posing with the birthday girl right outside of the palace. He captioned his photo with, “Happy Birthday to our special little young lady …Such a special girl who brings so much joy and happiness into our lives.. Happy 6th birthday ( I can’t believe your 6 already ) have the most amazing day we love you pretty lady x @brooklynbeckham @romeobeckham@cruzbeckham @victoriabeckham.”

In another photo on her mother’s instagram account, little Harper can be seen wearing her princess dress and holding a red balloon in a courtyard outside of Buckingham Palace. Victoria wrote, “Our little birthday princess x Kisses.”

If that weren’t enough, David also shared an adorable photo of Harper alongside all of her friends and real-life princess, Princess Beatrice.

Earlier this month, David Beckham was forced to defend himself after he shared a photo kissing his 6-year-old daughter on the lips. For David, it showed nothing more than fatherly love but for his critics, they think the photo was inappropriate, to say the least.

David said, “I got actually criticized for kissing my daughter on the lips the other day. I kiss all my kids on the lips. Brooklyn, maybe not. Brooklyn’s 18, he might find that a little bit strange.”

The celebrity dad added, “But I’m very affectionate with the kids. It’s how I was brought up and Victoria, and it’s how we are with our children.We want to show our kids love and we protect them, look after them, and support them, and we’re very affectionate with them.”
