Alicia Keys Celebrates Baby Genesis’ 2nd Birthday

Singer and The Voice coach Alicia Keys is the proud mom of an adorable two year old.  On December 27th, Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz’ second child Genesis Ali Dean turned two years old.  With the holidays and Genesis’ big day, Alicia just got around to sharing a sweet message about her baby’ birthday on Instagram.  

Alicia posted a collage of beautiful photos of 2 year old Genesis and captioned it, “Your 2nd Birthday was Dec 27th and I want to thank everyone who sent loving wishes your way! We’ve been so immersed in celebrating your one of a kind spirit and the joy you infuse into us and into this world. I can’t wait to see who you become because already you are so beautiful, so powerful, so FUNNY and such a conduit of love!! You are a magnanimous definition of everything good in the world. We love you! ( greatest understatement of the century).

The last few months have been pretty full of exciting milestones for Alicia Keys and her family.  Not only did they celebrate the holidays and Genesis’ birthday, but the busy mom of two also wrapped up her first season on NBC’s singing competition The Voice, and released her 6th album, titled “Here” in November.  

Upon the release of her new album Alicia dished to Entertainment Tonight, “Who would have known that all these things that’s kind of pulling back the veil on myself — on what I see happening in our world, happening to all of us — would be so timely in where we are as a country, as a world.”

It’s truly impressive that Alicia Keys manages to balance being mom to Genesis and his big brother Egypt, and still churn out amazing music.
