It seems like every time a celeb debuts a baby bump, the tabloids insist that they are pregnant with twins, but in 2014 when Zoe Saldana walked the red carpet with her burgeoning baby bump, it turned out the media was actually correct this time around – and she really was pregnant with twins! On November 27 2014, Zoe Saldana gave birth to two healthy baby boys: Bowie Ezio Perego-Saldana and Cy Aridio Perego-Saldana. Zoe and her Italian artist hubby Marco Perego were overjoyed.
Since Zoe Saldana’s twins were born, she has managed to balance her busy acting career and multiple films, plus taking care of her adorable boys. She shares some rare snapshots on social media of Cy and Bowie, and they always seem to be so happy and full of joy!
This week Zoe Saldana made a shocking admission in an interview with The Edit, and the actress revealed that she recently learned that she suffers from Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. The busy mom and actress hasn’t let her disease slow her down though, and she explained that she and her husband have begun “eating clean” and have gone gluten free and dairy free.
Zoe explained in her interview, “Your body doesn’t have the energy it needs to filter toxins, causing it to believe that it has an infection, so it’s always inflamed. You create antibodies that attack your glands, so you have to eat clean.”
