Glory Johnson’s Twins Arrive Prematurely – WNBA Star Thanks Fans For Their Prayers
WNBA star Glory Johnson’s twin girls arrived prematurely and the new mom shared the news on Instagram on Sunday (Oct. 18). Johnson thanked fans for all their positive thoughts, prayers and well wishes.
There was no word on whether Johnson’s ex-wife Brittney Griner was present at the time of the twin’s birth. The couple married in May but Griner filed for an annulment just one day after Glory announced she was pregnant.
Despite the fact that Glory Johnson’s little girls arrived prematurely they are doing well. The photo on Glory’s Instagram page is of two sets of tiny little feet and tiny little hands with the birth announcement. “Babies Ava Simone & Solei Diem arrived on Monday! 😍😍😍 Born a little earlier than expected, I have No Worries because these babies are fighters just like I am! We all know God makes NO mistakes and by his Grace, everything will work out for the greater good. We will continue to trust God as they are in his hands. Continue to keep us Lifted because there is Sooo Much Power In PRAYER!!!”
Glory added a photo to Instagram on Monday (Oct. 19) of herself in the hospital and she appears to be sleeping.
“I have So Much LEARNING to do before you BOTH get here,” she shared. “But I promise to prepare myself Everyday to Properly Welcome You Home! I have So Much LEARNING to do before you BOTH get here,” she shared. “But I promise to prepare myself Everyday to Properly Welcome You Home!”
