Candice, Joe, and the kids were all sporting white t-shirts they have painted on by hand, and Joe and the girls were pointing to Candice’s bump which was labeled “Baby.” Joe’s t-shirt had also been painted with the words “Super Dad.” Candice captioned the surprising baby announcement, “Sometimes a Saturday is best spent painting t-shirts and taking an awesome family photo. Happy Monday everybody! #ThatAintNoBurritoInMyBelly.” Her husband Joe also made a post on his Instagram account confirming the pregnancy and the musician stated, “So proud to welcome this new life into the world with my beautiful wife and daughters. I truly am a lucky man & dad.”
This will be The Vampire Diaries star’s first baby, but she has had some practice parenting since she married Joe King last year in New Orleans and became the proud momma of her two step-daughters. Candice’s followers flocked to social media to wish her congratulations on her baby news and growing family – and then everyone began speculating whether her pregnancy would be included in the upcoming season of The CW drama. It is unclear whether Candice will be taking time off from work during her pregnancy, and if so how long her maternity leave will be.
We want to wish Candice the best of luck with her pregnancy, and we can’t wait to meet to learn the baby’s gender and due date!
