Great Ways To Surprise Your Kids With A Disney Vacation
There is nothing better than using one of these great ways to surprise your kids with a Disney vacation. Not only will they be thrilled, the surprise will get them pumped up even more. Waiting until the last minute to surprise them is one of the best ways, but no matter what you choose your kids will be thrilled to find out they are headed to the happiest place on earth.
Give them gift boxes to open including custom Disney t-shirts. Custom Disney shirts are a popular item to make or buy when going on a family vacation to Disneyland or Walt Disney World. Wrap the t-shirts into gift boxes and sit your kids down the day or two before you plan to leave and have them open their boxes to surprise them with a Disney vacation. It will be tons of fun to watch their faces light up when they understand what the t-shirts mean.
Have them open the package including your fast pass wrist bands. If you have ordered fast pass wrist bands for your trip to Walt Disney World, you can wait until a few days before you leave and give the box containing them to your kids to open. They will be excited about the upcoming trip and fun new accessory just for their Disney vacation.
Send a card from their favorite Disney character that says they can’t wait to see them. This works best for the younger kids. Pick out a fun Disney themes card and sign a personal note from their favorite character. Send it through the mail so they think it really came from the character. Let them open it, read it and let this be the way to surprise your kids with a Disney vacation that they will never forget.
Order a cake with a special announcement on it. After dinner, bring out a cake and set in the table that has a special message on it saying something like, “Disney June 2015 or Bust”. It may take a few minutes to sink in, but it will be the best dessert you’ve ever given them when they see the message and realize what it means. They will be thrilled to enjoy a piece of cake while you tell them all about your upcoming family vacation to Disneyland or Walt Disney World.
These great ways to surprise your kids with a Disney vacation are just the tip of the iceberg. Use your imagination and think about things that your kids do every day. Work your surprise into things like breakfast, brushing their teeth, loading up the car for school or even making dinner. Add hints here and there that will keep them guessing until they finally figure out that your family is now headed to spend time in one of the best theme parks in the world. Whether your trip takes you to California or Florida, these tips are perfect for sharing the news with your kids in a fun and unique way.
When my kids were little we took them to O’Hare in Chicago. We told them we were going on a helicopter ride above Chicago. The six year old could read enough that he knew the gate sign said Orlando. He knew then and promptly told his 4 year old sister. It was a great surprise for both of them.
We go to Disney World every year and we surprised the kids with a trip one year. They never even figured it out until we were going into the magical express line at the airport 🙂
These are great! I remember seeing a video on YouTube of parents surprising their little girl and she bursts into tears of happiness. So cute!
I love this. I would love to surprise my kiddos with a Disney Vacation. I’m hoping this time next year so I’ll keep this in mind!
I’ve never had a desire to go to Disney. I think it’s my aversion to crowds.
I like the tee shirt idea. Any of these would be fun ways to surprise them though.
I’m not good at keeping secrets like this. I would love to do it one day!
Those are great ideas. We go to Disney frequently because we are so close by. Definitely e to go frugal because it gets costly.
We cut out “We Are Going To Disney” and the girls had to figure how to put the pieces together to get the surprise. They loved it!
These are such cute ideas! I can’t wait to have kids & take them to Disneyland 🙂
I would love to take my kids here! It’ll be so much fun, but it’s a tad hard to do with a big family. If I did spring this on them, I couldn’t keep it a secret long lol
We live so close to Disney and I think we need to do this, I would love to see their faces!
These are great ways to surprise your kids. I love the T shirt idea. I would have loved to do this with my kids.
