Kerry Washington Glows While Walking the Oscars Red Carpet

Kerry Washington attended the 86th Annual Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA on Sunday (March 2). 

The Scandal actress wore a purple gown with a slit that revealed a bit of leg and studded heels. She completed her maternity red carpet look with simple diamond earrings and a tennis bracelet. 

“I look for that things that fit. That’s the first rule — what fits,” she told E! News of how she chooses her red carpet looks in January. “I mean it’s the same for me. I just have to feel good in it and like it myself so that I feel comfortable all night.”

Washington who’s expecting her first child with husband Nnamdi Asomugha was tight lipped when asked about the new season of Scandal.

“Worth the Wait,” she told while, adding,  “Some Shocking stuff is about to unfold.”
