I honestly think my 2-year-old daughter, Ava could stay in diapers forever if mommy and daddy weren’t sick of her poopy diapers. We started training her at 18 months then at 23 months without success, so when I got the chance to test out a new potty I couldn’t say no.
We have the gumball green, but it comes in two other colors for variety. The plastic is of good quality and I like that the base has a TPE ring which makes the potty slip resistant. The other potty we have doesn’t have this feature and it often moves easily if she does.
The bowl is easy to remove and comes with a built in pee blocker. It is apparent Prince Lionheart was trying to make this potty as hassle free as possible.
One of the best features is that the potty is light weight and small enough to take on the go. It’s great because we can send the potty over to my Mom’s place when mommy/daddy are having a day off and not disrupt her potty training.
So, did my daughter like potty and it is working? She showed interest in the potty right away and willingly sat on it herself the first couple of times. She even took it to different rooms and said, “Potty, Potty Mommy!”. Is she fully trained yet? No, that will take time, but I definitely think we will keep using this potty.
If you want a simple potty that is easy to travel with then the Prince Lionheart potty Pod Basix is a great choice.
