Dance Moms Recap For April 30th, 2013: Season 3 Finale “Candy Apple Showdown”

Dance Mom’s returns with Lifetime with a new episode called, “Candy Apple Showdown.”  On last week’s show the team hit the Big Apple not only for a competition, but also for a very special surprise. Abby had been invited to co-host “The View” where the girls would perform their winning dance “The Last Text,” however, Abby wrestled with the decision to replace injured Mackenzie with newcomer Asia.

Of course, Cathy and her Candy Apples werebalso in the city, where they were holding open auditions to add another member to their winning team.  If you missed the drama of last week, we have your recap right here.

On tonight’s episode in this special two-hour episode, Abby and the Candy Apples go head-to-head at The Masters of Dance in New York City. Abby is planning on wowing the judges while Cathy is counting on Anthony’s innovative choreography to keep her on top. While both teams manage to find time to have fun in the big city, things get heated between Christi and Kristie. At the competition, Abby makes an unforgettable announcement that could change the Abby Lee Dance Company forever.
