Dance Moms Recap March 19th, 2013: Season 3 Episode 12 “The Apple of Her Eye”

Dance Moms returns to Lifetime tonight with a new episode.  On last week’s show in a special two-hour episode the girls struggled to get Abby’s military-inspired group dance ready for the competition. The moms and Abby was suspicious of the validity of Mackenzie’s sudden foot injury.

Meanwhile, the moms were delighted to find out that Abby had a date with a mysterious man.  We got to see Abby speed-dating and that was awesome, to say the least. Only downside was that Christi was exiled from the excursion per Ms. Abby’s request. Not a good way to build commendatory amongst the moms or the girls.  If you missed the drama of last week, we have your recap right here.

On tonight’s show in this special two-hour episode the Abby Lee Dance Company prepares for a group number that is a tribute to Rosa Parks. The team must bring their “A” game because they’re going head-to-head against Cathy and her Apple Core. Meanwhile, Mackenzie becomes an internet sensation with her make-up tutorials.
