Nicole Kidman: “Having My Baby Has Been a Healing Experience”

Nicole Kidman Covers Dujour Winter Magazine

Nicole Kidman covers the winter issue of DuJour magazine while giving a candid interview about her past life with Tom Cruise, finding love with Keith Urban and how becoming mother healed her.

The Academy Award winning actress admits she lived in a bubble and became very dependent during her nine year marriage to ex-husband Tom Cruise.

“I was totally smitten—I fell madly, passionately in love. I was reeling with Tom. I would have gone to the ends of the earth for him. I was so impulsive and naïve… We were in a bubble, just the two of us. We became very dependent on one another,” she told.

In 2006, Kidman married husband Keith Urban whom she credits to changing her life.

“My life changed. He is a wonderful, caring man and he makes me feel secure. We don’t ever like to be separated.”

Having her children Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret completed her healing process and she insists she is happier than ever.

“Having my baby has been a healing experience. It took me so long to have a child. I feel enormous gratitude. Sunday has healed an enormous amount in me. It’s a very private thing, but she just has.”

“I’m happier than I’ve ever been in my life. I’m living in a friend’s house in Nice. My two daughters are with me, Sunday Rose, who’s 4, and Faith Margaret, who’s 2. My mother is about to fly in from Australia to babysit. Then Keith will be arriving…My family is with me. My family.”
