April Hernandez-Castillo and her husband Jose Castillo welcomed their first child, daughter Summer Rose Castillo on Sunday.
Born at 1:15 p.m., the baby girl weighed in at 7 lbs., 5 oz. and is 19 inches long.
The news was confirmed by her rep.
Hernandez-Castillo who is best known as Officer Cira Manzon on Dexter announced her pregnancy in April.
“We actually had names picked out way before we even became pregnant,” she said to People when confirming she was expecting a baby girl. “We are still deciding on a theme for the nursery, but I do know there will be lots of pink!”
