Tia Mowry Gives Birth to Baby Girl

She has finally popped!

Tia Mowry took to Instagram to share that she gave to a baby girl on Saturday.

In the shot accompanying the happy message, the actress sits in a hospital bed, wearing a pink lace nightgown as she affectionately holds the newborn.

“Feeling grateful and blessed as we welcome our little baby girl into the world!” Born May 5th at 10:29 am at 6 pounds and 4 Oz 19.8 inches 💕 We are in heaven 🙏🏽,” Mowry captioned the shot.

Before the birth of the baby girl, the star’s husband Cory Hardrict revealed that he was excited to be having a baby girl.

“I’m really ready for it because I’m ready for some peace and quiet in the house,” Hardrict told ESSENCE with a laugh. “I hear little girls are so soft, their temperament, they’re so angelic so I’m ready for that!”

“I’ve always wanted a little baby girl, I’ll probably leave my show, riding around in my car, looking in the back at her car seat, [seeing] her little burettes and all that. I wanna see all of it. Her hair done real nice and some good ultra sheen and you take it back to the green grease, you know what I’m saying? I wanna enjoy and cherish all those moments just being a father and raising a beautiful Black young queen in this world.”

Mowry and Hardrict are also parents to 6-year-old son Cree.

The pair wed in April 2008.
