The play is set in 1920s Long Island, Nice Work If You Can Get It is the story of tough-as-nails bootlegger Billie Bendix (O’Hara), who meets wealthy playboy Jimmy Winter (Broderick) on his wedding weekend. Featuring hit Gershwin songs including “Someone to Watch Over Me,” “Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off” and “Fascinating Rhythm,” Nice Work If You Can Get It is a lighthearted musical comedy about the finer things in life.
