Peaches Geldof Welcomes A Baby Boy

Congratulations to British ‘it’ girl Peaches Geldof and fiance Thomas Cohen. They’ve become parents to baby boy Astala Dylan Willow Cohen-Geldof. A very unique name!

The 23 year old tweeted ‘Yes, it’s true – I’M A MUMMY!!!!‘ on Saturday. Another tweet later read ‘My little boy is the most beautiful thing in this world. When he holds Tom’s finger with his hand its the sweetest thing ever. X‘ New Dad Thomas also jumped on social media adding ‘I’m a dad he is the most perfect thing ever so proud of his beautiful mum @peaches_g and overcome with joy x.‘ very seet.

If you think the new baby has a long name – wait til you hear the new Mom’s name in full. She’s called Peaches Honeyblossom Michelle Charlotte Angel Vanessa Geldof. Her father is Sir Bob Geldof who organised Live Aid in the 1980s. Her mother was TV presenter Paula Yates.

Peaches told Hello magazine earlier this year about her Dad’s reaction to finding out he was going to be a grandfather ‘Oh my God, he was so happy, especially as I’m having a boy. The poor man’s been surrounded by women up till now. I knew he would be happy but I didn’t’ realise how over the moon he would be. He’s always been very supportive of me‘. Sir Bob has also given his son in law-to-be  the thumbs up ‘He offered Tom a glass of champagne and told me he was glad it was Tom because, of all the boyfriends I’ve had, he’s the favorite. He told us we must never break up; that we must make our child happy, get married and be together forever‘.
