No More Babies for Newlywed Ricki Lake

Over the years Ricki Lake has been very vocal about the personal joy that motherhood has brought to her life.  She absolutely adores sons Milo and Owen, but has no intention of adding a new addition to the family since marrying Christian Evans.  Lake recently told Celebuzz:

“We are not gonna have more kids. We have made that decision.  When you fall in love, the fantasy of making a baby and all that is definitely appealing. But I also love this phase of my life, where my children are 15 and almost 11. It’s really nice to have some freedom to be able to go away and have a balance of a fun kind of life with your husband and also with growing children.”

Lake and her jewelry designer husband opted to elope on April 8^th with no one in attendance but their dogs.  The two are planning a larger celebration in the near future.

“I definitely want to celebrate…because I know there were a lot of people disappointed that they weren’t able to take part in it.  Maybe we’ll renew our vows or something.”

In the meantime,  Lake is busy preparing to bring The Ricki Lake Show back to television this fall.
