Spelling and Mcdermott recently moved out of their 7,000 square foot home for a smaller place in Malibu.
“It’s true that the simpler life is such a better way. We all accumulate so much, and we feel like we can’t live without stuff. We really don’t need any of that stuff to make it work and be happy.”
The two acre property will allow their family to garden, care for animals and be more attached to nature.
Spelling continued, “Spacewise, we have less than half of what we had before, but our old home wasn’t conducive to farm living. Sustainable farming is a lifestyle we want to teach our children. We wanted to grow our own vegetables and fruit trees.”
