Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon Bring Twins To 2012 BET Honors

Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon were all smiles at the 2012 BET Honors in Washington DC on Saturday night.  Carey wore a nude gown with black sequin detail as she gave Cannon kisses on the red carpet. Cannon looked healthy after recovering for a kidney illness last week while vacationing in Aspen, Co.

During the ceremony, Cannon presented his wife wife an entertainer award while holding their 8-month-old son, Moroccan. Cannon gave an emotional speech calling Carey his hero.

“What most people don’t get to experience is the human,” he said at the podium. “To know you guys are honoring her tonight, I have to continue to honor her every day.”

Once on stage Carey, jokingly explained why Moroccan’s twin sister, Monroe stayed backstage:

“She’s a diva like her mama,” she said.

“We were both sewn into our dresses, so she couldn’t make it out.”
