That’s because the character should be living his best life, seeing how he has all the wonderful and rich things that the world has to offer, but instead it seems like he’s just growing angrier by the day.
In fact, many fans have pointed out that Nick is not only really good looking, but he’s also someone at the top of the social food chain. Yet, he never really found any true happiness in his life.
Not only that, but a lot of viewers are also over all the tantrums that he seems to be throwing on a weekly basis now.
Clearly, many Y&R fans did have a lot to say about the matter and where this storyline might be headed.
Some even commented with, “I thought it was related to his addiction. Withdrawals will do that and much of his feelings come out on other people. If you know anyone trying to quit smoking as an example, most are very jumpy and snappy.”
Another critic wrote, “I feel like by now he should be over the initial withdrawal period. Rehab sounds like a good idea although I heard that rehab places are the easiest places to get drugs.”
What’s Really Going On With Nick Newman?
And then there was this comment as well: “Matt Clark has plagued Nick since their high school days.
Matt has done many terrible things to Nick and Nick’s family. So Matt being around triggers Nick and reminds him of everything that happened.”
“But then again, it has been going on for as long as Devon’s negative snappy arc and it’s to the point where it’s just straight annoying now.”
Now, whether fans will get to see a character change in Nick anytime soon, remains to be seen. After all, he can’t stay this angry for too long, right? Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
