The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) wasted no time in condemning Will Spencer (Crew Morrow). Once again, Nicoletti’s character was out of line.

While Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) pulled back from his intended sympathetic hug, her recently healed emotional scar was scratched.

Her reaction to Logan having a jewelry line reinforces how young and inexperienced she and the first love of her life both are.

Will is new to the world of soapy relationships. However, he did anticipate awkwardness when Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) made her surprise debut for Logan. But Will didn’t expect Electra to feel that Will betrayed her personal trust once more.

Thoughts Of Luna Nozawa Linger?

In real-time, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) stalked and tormented Will and Electra a year ago. It might be a few years ago in soap-time but regardless, that situation remains fresh.

More recently, Luna’s accidental killer, Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock), became involved with Will.

That led to the friendship break between Electra and Melissa, but that was recently patched up.

RJ surely wasn’t thinking about Melissa when he ran to Electra and bad-mouthed Will.

RJ wanted to take advantage of the perceived wrong that Will committed. Nicoletti’s alter ego would have sought out Melissa first if he was invested in her, and then together they would have gone to Electra if Bullock’s character felt it best.

Electra Forrester Needs Seasoned Guidance

Electra did have a family member who was looking out for her. But Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) was overzealous in her maternal-like protection that eventually led to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) telling her that a return to Australia was best.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) could serve as the next family member who provides needed guidance.

She is definitely experienced in navigating relationships, has children, and co-heads Forrester Creations, which allows Steffy to recognize the challenges of a work and daytime business balance.

Electra’s best interests are what RJ believes he’s looking out for. He may prove to be her next romantic interest as well.

But he completely lacks the experienced perspective that someone like Steffy can offer Electra. Plus, RJ’s advice is slanted toward her eliminating Will and embracing him, which is self-serving rather than heartfelt.

RJ Forrester Is Young And Naive

Part of daytime planning through the years is to focus on younger characters because a younger audience is on summer break from school.

How many school-age children and college students watch soaps in the modern age is hard to know, but that volume is a scant remnant of what it once was in decades past.

So, the entire audience will watch RJ’s progress and whatever Electra decides. If she breaks from Will, RJ will be ready to offer his shoulder to lean on.

But Electra’s maturity might include her stepping back and staying single for a while. She needs time to process all that’s happened and not make what would be a rebound move.
