Following Brooke’s lead, Steffy presumed that Hope had no choice but to wait until she was good and ready to tell her when to work again.

Hope for the Future had its line prepared and ready to unveil for months, but Steffy said the focus on Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) comeback line was a priority.

Hope wasn’t fired or allowed to leave, as her brother, Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone), experienced.

Instead, Steffy actually verbalized that Hope didn’t have another option in what proved to be a Brooke-light moment.

Well, Hope followed her aunt’s lead and took command of her career. Without the seeming input of legal advice, Hope left FC and signed a contract with Logan.

Katie was recently able to convince Hope that she made the right decision and shouldn’t doubt herself.

There was a subtle threat in their conversation as well, with Katie telling Hope that it was too late to return to her last position.
