On the June 22 episode, Nikki will receive some shocking information that may lead to a very risky surgery. Will Nikki be forced to take a chance on this surgery or will she lose her sight for life?
Nikki Newman’s Shocking Diagnosis
NIkki believed that her MS was acting up and causing all of her problems, especially her headaches. However, after being pushed to go to the doctor and get some help, Nikki receives a shocking diagnosis. Nikki learns that she has a mass that is pushing on her optic nerve and that is what is causing her to have trouble seeing.
Nikki has already warned her daughter, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that she does not want Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to know about her health issues.
Victor and Nikki have been separated for some time and she doesn’t want him to come back because he knows something is wrong with her. Nikki will need surgery to try to correct this issue.
Nikki Newman’s Risky Surgery
Nikki may learn that her only option is a very risky surgery or she will lose her eyesight completely. Nikki doesn’t want to be dependent on anyone, especially Victor.
However, Nikki may be in a situation where she will definitely lose her sight without surgery and may lose it even if she has surgery. Nikki is truly in a precarious situation.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) may end up being Nikki’s saving grace. Nikki will likely want to talk this over with someone and Nate could be the likely person. Of course, Nate and Victoria are very close so Nikki feels safe talking to him.
Nikki’s situation may even inspire Nate to get back into medicine, if he can get his hand fixed. Will Nate give up the corporate world?
Nikki Newman May Be Temporarily Blind
NIkki may actually end up temporarily blind even if she does have the surgery. Of course, Nikki should know that messing with the optic nerve is very dangerous.
Nikki will likely be warned that this will happen and may not know if her sight will return. Will Nikki have to struggle with temporary blindness because of her tumor?
NIkki is truly dealing with a nightmare, but as soap fans know, there is likely to be a happy ending. Could Nikki and Victor reunite because of her health issues? Will Victor realize that he loves Nikki and wants to be with her no matter what? What will come from Nikki’s health issues in the end?
