General Hospital Shocker: Is Returning To Salem?
General Hospital fans are still in absolute shock that one of their fan favorites is leaving this fictional town of Port Charles after just three years.
Of course, we are talking about actress Kate Mansi, who was best known for her role as Kristina Corinthos Davis. According to Variety, her final episode is going to air sometime in June.
While a lot people are still wondering what might have happened behind the scenes that led to Kate leaving the show, others can’t help but wonder what her next move will be.
General Hospital Shocker: Is Kate Mansi Returning To Salem?
That’s because there’s online speculation suggesting that she might end up going back to Salem over at Days of Our Lives. Before Kate joined the cast of General Hospital, she played Abigail Deveraux for many memorable years.
If Kate does return to DOOL, a lot of people also can’t help but wonder what’s going to happen to the character of Kristina in Port Charles. After all, she is part of a legacy family and it’s not like she can be forgotten forever, right?
That’s why there’s a lot of speculation about whether or not actress Lexi Ainsworth will come back to take on the role. She played Kristina before the role was given to Kate Mansi back in 2023.
What’s Next For Kate Mansi?
It’s safe to say that the producers of General Hospital are keeping viewers in suspense as this is a cast shakeup that no one saw coming.
That said, GH Executive Producer Frank Valentin did release a statement that said, “We love Kate and support her decision to leave. The door is always open and we appreciate all that she has added to the show these past three years.”
Now, as far as what her next move is, remains to be seen, but so far Kate Mansi has not made any comments about her future just yet. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
