The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke’s Dream Shattered As Steffy Fights For What’s Hers

The Bold and The Beautiful: Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang)

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) can’t believe that her father is choosing Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) over her again. But that’s why he presented his wife’s idea as hers and not his own.

Readers noticed that Brooke was referred to by her maiden name above. That’s because Steffy, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) have never accepted Brooke as part of the Forrester family.

She was the woman Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) married after Taylor, and was his third wife at that point in B&B’s history.

Brooke broke up Taylor’s marriage to Ridge, and that created the forever grudge Steffy holds. So, to hear her father suddenly suggest that Brooke replace her as Forrester Creations’ Chief Executive Officer was just too much.

Taylor Hayes Is Pursuing Other Drama

Taylor remarried Ridge three years after divorcing him. That union endured for many years but eventually fell apart.

Steffy’s worries about her mother no longer involve Taylor’s endless pursuits of Ridge, which always ended in heartache. Instead, she’s fallen in love, or believes she’s done so, with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).

That’s created an entirely different set of concerns because of the woman Deacon intends to divorce. Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) has momentarily convinced her estranged husband and Taylor that she won’t seek reprisal against either of them or their families. Whether the soon-to-be single character Brown portrays lives up to that pledge remains to be seen in daytime.

The Bold and The Beautiful: Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye)

Ridge Forrester Is Loyal To His Logan

Ridge was thunderstruck the first time he laid eyes on Brooke, which dates back to the inception of this enduring soap opera in 1987. Their love story is forever woven into the fabric of this fashion-based show.

Brooke’s idea, in and of itself, is plausible. She believes that they can follow in the footsteps of FC’s co-founders, Eric Forrester (John McCook) and the late Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery).

If Ridge had never elevated Steffy to co-CEO status, with Eric’s endorsement, Brooke’s plan would face one less significant hurdle. But Steffy has been sharing responsibility with her father for a handful of years, and to the plot point, she’s excelled in the position.

Brooke Logan Forrester’s Resume Tops Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s?

Purely on paper, Brooke embodies what FC is all about. Steffy told that to Ridge herself during the painful conversation about the co-CEO spot.

But Steffy countered Brooke’s belief that she and Ridge could be the modern edition of Eric and Stephanie. As Wood’s character fact-checked, an often self-applied and haughty term to be sure, Eric was the CEO, and Stephanie was not his public co-equal.

She worked behind the scenes in an era that was starkly different than today’s world.

However, Brooke’s status within the industry and the authenticity behind the buzz that would be created if she replaced Steffy would be immeasurable. But so would the fallout if Steffy chose not to remain loyal to the family business because of what she would see as an undeserved demotion.
