The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Jack’s Wheels Are Turning – Use Patty To Strike Back At Victor?

The Young and The Restless: Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Patty Williams' (Stacy Haiduk)

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) won’t let what Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) did to his marriage go. That’s what makes Patty Williams’ (Stacy Haiduk) presence in Genoa City, Wisconsin, particularly intriguing and potentially useful.

Striking back at Victor is one way Jack can go. He’s been stymied in trying to convince his wife to forgive his mistake.

Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) can’t get the image of Jack with Patty on the yacht out of her head. The effect that had on her heart has proven immeasurable and seems to have caused Diane to reconsider Victor’s pronouncements about him.

Victor Newman Is Also Separated

One of the reasons why Victor loves Jack’s marital strain has to do with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Braeden’s character is fully confident that he’ll get his business back. But that outlook is countered by his insecurity about Nikki’s interest in Jack.

The Moustache still hasn’t reconciled the fact that Jack never put Nikki’s life in danger when she was on her last forced bender. Viewers recall that Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) knocked Nikki out and forced alcohol into Nikki’s system through an intravenous tube.

Victor used that grudge he holds, when gratitude would have been proper, to aim Patty at Jack. His plan worked better than expected, with Diane having left Jack.

Diane Jenkins Abbott Should Come To Her Senses

Diane is almost treating Jack worse than Victor has. She should know that Patty having drugged Bergman’s character is the entire reason why he behaved so out of character in that state room.

However, like Victor, Diane has insecurities about her marriage. She’s still dealing with having faked her death and fooled Jack and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) for so many years.

Seeing Jack with Patty, in particular, shocked Diane to her core. But having been twice married to Victor and knowing how much he loathes her, Diane shouldn’t have allowed herself to be so affected by his ruse.

At the very least, she should have only expressed her doubts to Jack and never allowed her inner thoughts to become so public. But it happened, and a frazzled Victor loves it.

Patty Williams Vulnerable To Persuasion

Jack can’t match Victor’s seemingly endless financial resources, even with the loss of Newman Enterprises. But he does have one major advantage over him.

Patty, in her twisted way, does care about Jack. She genuinely believes that he would be better off divorced from Diane and back with her. So, Jack can use the belief that her scattered mind projects into the ether.

The twinkle in Jack’s eye, when he unexpectedly ran into Patty at the GC Athletic Club, implies the origin of a payback plan. Tap into her romantic interest and use that to make her an ally. It would be dangerous but possibly very effective.
