General Hospital Comings And Goings: Finola Hughes Back As Anna Devane

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Finola Hughes is on the way back as Anna Devane. Fans have noticed that Hughes has disappeared and has been MIA recently.

Fans called it immediately when her name disappeared from the contract list back in February and it sent Port Charles into a tailspin. Now we know that she is on the way back and fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

Chris McKenna Announced Finola Hughes’ Return

Chris McKenna announced Finola’s return on his X (formerly Twitter) account. A fan mentioned that Anna was needed to blow this WSB situation wide open.

Anna needs to be there to take down Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Another fans mentioned how much they miss Anna.

Chris chimed in and announced that Finola was on the way back to Port Charles. It seems that Finola had taken a short break. However, Finola is not the only one who does this and she won’t be the last.

Certain actors had set times that they leave for a vacation and return after a little while. Now that Finola is back it is time for Anna to get back in the action.

Steve Burton Has Taken A Break

Steve Burton, who plays Jason Morgan, is also currently on break from the long running soap as well. Burton is expected to be back this summer after taking time off to spend with his family.

Burton got married a few months ago and wants time to blend their families and set up their routine before returning to the show.

Fans are usually good with their favorites taking a little time away but the show is always better when our favs are onscreen and taking care of business.

Jason certainly needs to return to get his son under control before the child ends up joining the mob or worse. Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) certainly needs his dad back before he gets in over his head.

What’s Been Happening With Anna Devane?

When we last saw Anna she was fighting with ghosts from her past such as Peter August (ex-Wes Ramsey) and Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

Anna has been so tormented that she ended up in a psychiatric clinic in France to get help with everything that was going on in her head. Of course, we know that Anna has not suffered all of this one her own.

Once Anna is back we are sure to learn more about her ordeal and if she has managed to get past it. Will Anna come home and take care of this whole WSB mess?
