Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) slipped out of Taylor’s office after gently touching her face, which Sheila saw. The timing of that sequence was highly soapy but pushed the plot as viewers understood.

Sheila grabbed the crumb clues Deacon left and solved the mystery rather quickly. It took her approximately less than a day to confirm that her husband was cheating.

At this point in the storyline, Taylor and Deacon are all in. They believe what they share is love, rather than being a hybrid double rebound from Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Sheila, respectively. Although, to be more exact, Deacon could be tagged as rejecting or repelling his wife.

Sheila Carter Sharpe Can’t Let Outrage Stand

Confronting Taylor is a first step. The next involves putting Deacon on notice.

Sheila might be inclined to tell her philandering husband that he will break it off with Taylor, or they’ll both pay the price. She could also tell him that Taylor will be the target.

Alternatively, Sheila could be challenged by Deacon if he learns that she threatened Taylor. Of course, what Sheila did wasn’t a threat. She asked Taylor to explain her behavior with Deacon, with the projectile objects being part of an emotional presentation.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan Defaults To Protect Mode

Steffy has a strange relationship with Sheila. On the one hand, she is afraid of her. Who wouldn’t after Sheila twice tried to kill her with a gun?

But on the other hand, Steffy hasn’t been afraid to talk straight to Sheila in the soap years that have passed since the shooting behind Il Giardino. This scenario will require Steffy to respond.

A fierce Forrester response is warranted because of Sheila’s history. Despite Taylor being in the wrong, Steffy will naturally come to the defense of her mother. That should create a dramatic, unpredictable chain reaction.

The normal outcome is for Sheila to be blamed. Generally, she is the villain. But in this instance, Deacon and Taylor have provoked a response that any betrayed spouse would offer.

Sheila is far from a typical wronged spouse, and this shocker will require a nuanced outcome to avoid repeating well-worn history.
