General Hospital Spoilers: Brennan Puts The Pieces Together On Cullum Plot – Can He Save Anna?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) may put two and two together, now that he knows intel about corrupt WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). After Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) told him about Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) book and cigarillos in Cullum’s pocket, Brennan knows he’s responsible for Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) misery!

Jack Was Partly Responsible For Driving Anna Out Of The WSB

GH fans may remember that Brennan (then Charles Mesure) was partly responsible for driving Anna out of the WSB to begin with-bringing up her ancient past as a double agent!

But this was back when Brennan was also involved with Pikeman, and was trying to keep that a secret-he knew if Anna stayed in the WSB, she’d find out and expose him!

So, he and other higher-ups in the spy organization forced her out, and she took over the Port Charles Police Commissioner’s position, as she had before.

Anna knew where all of Brennan’s bodies were buried as well-and that’s only one reason why she told him to stay away from Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner).

But now, that Josslyn told him about the book and the cigarillos and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) revealed Cullum’s a double agent, he can make it up to Anna and perhaps redeem himself.

Why Would Cullum Want To Terrorize Anna?

Brennan doesn’t know the totality of the terror that Faison inflicted on Anna in the past, but he does know about quite a few things. He, she, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) were all in WSB spy school at the same time.

In those days, the main enemy of the WSB had been the DVX, and even now the two organizations are enemies. Faison had been the head of the DVX, and was involved in many cartel crimes, not to mention the creation of weapons of mass destruction, like the Chimera had been.

Brennan also knows of the obsession that Faison had with Anna-even though it was her twin Alexandra Marick (Finola Hughes) who was Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) mother.

Brennan Now Knows The Truth-Anna’s “Mission” Was Faked By Cullum
Brennan now knows the truth-that Anna’s “mission” and her recall to the agency were faked by Cullum, and it must have been to get her out of his and Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) way!

He knows Anna has been put in a mental hospital somewhere in France, and she’s not allowed visits from her family.

But his priority has to be to prove Cullum is behind it, and to stop the cold fusion project before it gets out of hand-Cullum obviously doesn’t have noble motives for wanting it!

Then, once Cullum and Sidwell are dealt with, rescuing Anna will be the priority. That, along with a heavy dose of apologies!
